The TSKUK International Squad, consisting of members from ESKA and Westwood flew to Sopron in Hungary for the 3rd JSKA European Championships (26th – 28th May).

30 students ranging  from 8 – 24 years old had the honour of not only representing the TSKUK but also England.

The squad had a very intense weekend with a final traning session in very humid conditions under the watchful eyes of Sensei Alan Parrish, Sensei Nathan Bond and Sensei Dan Jones on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday the squad arrived at the arena at 7.30am before the 8.30am opening ceremony. Competition started at 9.30am, not finishing until 10pm. Despite the long day, each student excelled resulting in the best ever results for the TSKUK enabling them to finish top of the medal from all 14 nations competing and winning the prestigious “Squad of the Tournament” trophy.

Congratulations to each student on your success, you did yourselves and your Country proud.
