On Sunday, 25th September 2022, the TSKUK held their bi-annual International 2-Day Course and Black Belt Grading in Canvey Island, Essex. The guest instructor for this event was Sensei Tom Kompier (7th Dan), a hugely successful event with over 250 members in attendance. The grading took place in front of a panel including Sensei Alan Parrish 7th Dan, Sensei Jason Hitchings 6th Dan, Sensei Nathan Bond 5th Dan, Sensei Charlie Tarr 4th Dan, Sensei Mary Hitchings 4th Dan, Sensei Dave Lynskey 3rd Dan & Sensei Mason Gill 3rd Dan.
A very successful grading resulted in 7 students achieving their Shodan (1st Dan Black Belt), 3 students achieving their Nidan (2nd Dan Black Belt) & 2 students achieving Yondan (4th Dan Black Belt).
