On Sunday 21st June 2026, our competitors represented TSKUK at two major competitions held on the same day.

Members from Westwood Karate Academy traveled to London to compete in the British Open 2026, while ESKA competitors headed to the TKFGB 5th Peterborough Cup.

Across both events, our athletes produced some outstanding performances, demonstrating excellent skill, determination and sportsmanship. Their hard work in training was rewarded with an impressive medal haul across Kata, Kumite and team events.

Congratulations to everyone who competed, along with the coaches, officials and supporters who helped make the day such a success. We are incredibly proud of all our competitors and the way they represented their clubs and TSKUK.

The British Open 2026

The British Open 2026, held at UEL SportsDock on Sunday 21st June 2026, was another outstanding event, bringing together some of the country’s strongest karate competitors for a day of high-quality competition.

Westwood Karate Academy enjoyed an excellent day, achieving a total of 20 medals across individual and team Kata and Kumite events. Competitors produced some fantastic performances.

ESKA members competed at the TKFGB 5th Peterborough Cup, representing the TSKUK across a range of Kata and Kumite categories.

ESKA competitors delivered an outstanding performance, returning home with an impressive 25 medals, 12 Gold, 9 Silver and 4 Bronze.
