On Sunday 9th July, Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre hosted the 8th TSKUK National Junior and Cadet Open Shotokan Championships.
Over 200 competitors from across the country competed in both individual and team events for kata and kumite.
The event was an outstanding success with a fantastic display of karate and sportsmanship on display throughout the whole day.
Congratulations to all the medalists and to Shannon Marment from ESKA who won the Competitor of the Day Award for winning an outstanding 3 gold medals.
We look forward to next years event in Norwich.
